Crazy, you are with old men,
Crazy old men, like me,
Whose love is now numbed;
So is their body, so numbed.
Haughty you’re in my prime;
Haughty, like any other dame,
Yet you served an old man,
My master, a crazy old man.
Numbed, I don’t feel now love;
Numbed, I don’t want to love;
So, you may feel empty, darling;
Thalia, you are too late, darling.
(Thalia is the Greek Muse for comedy and pastoral poetry)

An interesting title and well sadly that news was pretty late. I wonder whether the heart ever really gets old enough for love. No clue. Well written Newton

Hahaha let me remain young for some more time Newton. No one can escape old age. It does come eventually. Have a great evening ahead. Have fun

I remember, many years ago, reading the book “Passages” by Gail Sheehy about the stages of adulthood. And it is true that we pass through stages in life. I can say that from experience now (LOL). One stage gives way to the next. As the old song “Both Sides Now” by Joni Mitchell goes: “Well something’s lost, but something’s gained In living every day.”
