Divine sprinkler

Had you met this dying tree
this old tree, this bald tree
who has lost his sap of love,
love for blooming fruits
yesteryear, at his youth!!

He would have born fruits:
ripe, juicy, oozing fruits,
more trees from those fruits,
green, blooming trees
to double the beauty of earth.

But you’ve met this tree today,
at his old, bald age
and sprinkled divine droplets,
and he vows to birth fruits
though not like at his youth.

    • Thank you so much, Marta, for this great comment!! 🙂 In addition, last few weeks, I was busy completing my last two courses in the program, so I could not read and comment on my poet-friends’ posts. From tomorrow-night onward, I will definitely visit their blogs, read, and comment on their posts.

      • You are welcome, Newton. I understand your not having enough time to comment on other people’s posts. This is the problem my friend Mario Savioni has and is also another reason why I am always helping him find more followers, people who value his work. Mario is very grateful to you all and so am I. He is sorry he cannot keep track of you all and comment regularly on your posts. He simply doesn’t have the time. His job takes out all his energy. I hope he can retire soon.
