This me you drew
is not me;
your me wears my face,
but your heart;
so, this me you drew
is not me.
Let me
draw me
as I see me,
for only ‘me’
may draw me
as me.

Love the ending. Very well written Newton. Have a wonderful day ahead

It depends a lot on who is doing the drawing. True friends reveal the best of you, and remind you of it. Untrue people distort your image until you cannot recognize yourself. Knowing who is drawing you, and why, is always a reasonable place to start.
I don’t know how you find the time to write so deeply, so emotionally – I’m glad you do.

I think even a total stranger can capture your image but to add your essence the must know you and to have spent some time with you

Thank you so much, Village Talk Avant, for this great comment. If you rather meet ‘Reader Response’ theory (and then have a simple glance at this little verse), you may find a feasible response. Thank you again for this comment!! 🙂 🙂
