On the day when I took your arms,
this giant rock looked over the village;
on the day you left me for a different city,
this giant rock looked at me in sly.
The blue calm water beautifies the white lotus;
the time wails; the curlew moans;
the untold secrets overflow the heart,
and my heart still feels fragrance of remembrance.
